What to Expect on Your Trip

Before We Head Out

Start times are very flexible—most trips begin around sunrise, but we’ll set a time that works best for you. Bring a valid Maine fishing license, clothing for the weather, food and drinks, and a cooler if you plan to bring fish home.

On the Water

I provide the boat, gear, tackle, and safety equipment. We’ll go over the plan for the day, talk about target species, and adjust to conditions. The pace is up to you—some folks like a relaxed ride, others want to stay busy with lines in the water.

During the Trip

You’ll learn how we set up lines, use downriggers, and work lures at different depths. I’ll handle the technical side so you can focus on fishing and enjoying the day. Fish are never guaranteed—it’s fishing, after all—but I’ll use every bit of experience to give you the best shot possible.

Wrapping Up

We’ll return to the dock with time to spare so you’re not rushed. Photos of your catches are always encouraged—bring your camera or phone.
